Canada, Sep 20: Ottawa Canara Konkans celebrated feast of Nativity on Saturday September 17 at Mother Theresa Church in downtown Ottawa.
The Eucharist was conducted in Konkani and English. Fr Vincent Pereira explained the significance of Monthi Fest. As a symbol of new harvest fresh vegetables were offered during offertory.
After the mass celebration children offered the showering of flowers to Mother Mary. Fr Vincent Pereira graced the meal, which was carefully and lovingly prepared by each family who had gathered for the celebration.
Fr Pereira also thanked the gathering for all their hard work and commitment to the Canara Konkans community.
