Panaji, Sep 5: Music composer and singer Ivor D’Cunha, will be launching new pop album ‘Fugdi Ghalun Nach’ on September 8.

‘Fugddi Ghalun Nach’ is a collection of ten harmonious Konkani songs. All the lyrics are crafted by Ivor himself. These ten songs are sung by Goa’s highly applauded melodic voices of Nephie Rod, Seby F, Trisca, Acacio, Aurville, Edwin and Ivor. The music score has been done by Sidhanath Buyao, Frazer, Iggi and Acacio and amicably supported on the flute and saxophone by Shyam Raj from the Hindi
Film industry.

His pop albums like ‘Doria Degher Nach’, ‘Nach Kumpasar’ and hymns ‘Krist Rai Raiancho Rai’ are very popular and have been highly appreciated by music lovers not only in Goa but across the Konkan belt, Gulf, Europe and the US.

Most of the hit songs from his albums have gained popularity on Radio Goa and FM. Tracks like ‘Sodcho na’, ‘Sayonara’, ‘Toghether Forever’, ‘Dhavon Yho’ and ‘Be my Valentine’ are still popular and have been adapted by leading music bands for weddings and parties.

Ivor, who is originally from Assolna, here, has been working in the Gulf over the past twelve years and is based in Abu Dhabi, but his commitment for the Konkani stage continues to grow being away from home.
