Udupi, Oct 19: The Gumta training programme held by YCS/YSM of Udupi diocese on October 18 was a resounding success, celebrating Konkani culture, and providing a platform for 120 students to enhance their Gumta skills and knowledge. Jasmine and Jenvita Lobo graced the occasion as the chief guests.
The programme commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony, where students, trainers, and distinguished guests gathered to mark the beginning of the training. The chief guests, Jasmine and Jenvita Lobo, officially inaugurated the event, setting a positive tone for the day.
Following the inauguration, the students engaged in a series of training sessions. These sessions covered a wide range of topics and skills, tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of the participants. His presidential speech encouraged the attendees to make the best use of the opportunity and celebrate and preserve the culture. Evisha, serving as the regional representative, actively engaged in the programme and made a significant contribution. Furthermore, the seamless flow of the program was ensured by the capable comperes, Delina and Riyon, who guided the audience through the various segments of the event.
