Udupi, Oct 16: Kaup MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty inaugurated the annual special camp of NSS division of St Mary’s PU college Shirva on Monday October 16.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurme said, “The NSS helps to make students into good human beings in society. Students should always involve themselves in these kind of activities along with their education.”
Convenor of Shirva St Mary and Don Bosco group of educational institutions Fr Dr Leslie D’Souza, convenor of St Francis English medium school Mudarangady Fr Fredrick D’Souza, Mudarangady gram panchayat president Namita, Shirva church pastoral committee vice president Melwin M Aranha and NSS project officer Mariya Jacintha Furtado were present.
