Bantwal, Aug 22: “The million dollar question is why is the union government reluctant to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill if it’s honest in administration. Corruption can be curbed by everyone dealing honestly,” said lecturer Dr Shrisha Kumar.
Addressing the protest meet of Raita Seva Okkoota, in support of Anna Hazare’s struggle to pass Jan Lokpal Bill in the Parliament, at Idkidu gram panchayat hall, near here, on Saturday August 20, Shrisha Kumar urged the people not to stall the struggle till the Bill is passed.
Dakshina Kannada ZP president Shailaja Bhat, Idkidu gram panchayat president Ratna, vice-president Radhika, Venkatesh Amai, Suresh K S, Rajaram Shetty Kolleguttu, Prafulchandra Harish Devasya, Gopalkrishna Bhat Baipadavu, Ramesh, Timmappa Poojary, and Sudhir Kumar were present on the occasion.
