Mangaluru: Demonstration on segregation of waste in classrooms held at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Sep 28: In view of the World Environmental Health Day on September 26, the Nature Club members conducted a demonstration on segregation of waste in the classrooms at St Agnes College, Autonomous here.

Eco friendly dustbins prepared by the UG and PG students for the interclass competition were distributed to the respective classes with a demonstration by the group of Nature Club members who educated the students in each class about the difference between the biodegradable and non biodegradable wastes produced in the class and its proper disposal.

Nature club members were divided into eight groups of five members each and were guided by Vivid D'Souza, the co-ordinator and Sai Tanvi, secretary of the association.
