Mangaluru: Srinivas University commemorates International Day of Democracy

Mangaluru, Sep 18: Srinivas University Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities marked the occasion of the International Day of Democracy on September 18 with a thought-provoking and enlightening event held at the Srinivas University City Campus in Pandeshwar.

Dr Laveena Dmello, professor and head of the department, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, presided over the program.

Alexander Joseph, MSW student, had the privilege of reading out the oath, symbolizing the commitment to upholding democratic principles. This solemn moment emphasized the significance of democracy and civic responsibility.

Students from MSW, BSW, and BAJMC, actively engaged in the event. Prof Joyson Prenky Cardoza, prof Sushmitha, and prof Prajna were present.
