Udupi: Trinity Central School hosts 'Reconnect 2023' alumni get-together

Udupi, Sep 18: Trinity Central School hosted ‘Reconnect 2023’, a platform for the alumni to come together as one family . The programme was held on September 17 being attended by around 50 alumni.

The formal programme proceeded in an orderly fashion with a prayer song and Lighting the lamp. The welcome speech was delivered by Clinton, vice president of the alumni committee.

Selvin, treasurer of the alumni committee put forward the financial status of the association through his report.

It was followed by an interactive session led by Deeksha, president wherein the alumni discussed among themselves a few matters of importance which included, hosting a stall during children’s fest as a way to raise funds for the alumni committee in which the alumni have to take part. Performing a cultural programme such as a group dance during the annual day from the alumni side and others.

In his address, the principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo suggested the alumni to create an Instagram and a Facebook page for alumni to maintain a bond among alumni members and to keep in touch with the school.

Lastly, the words of encouragement from administrator and vice principal Fr Ravi Rajesh to involve more alumni members in the committee and be active participants was suggested.

The programme came to end with the vote of thanks by Zain, joint secretary.
