Founder president of Bombay Bunts Association, Dr Shyam N Shetty, passes away


Mumbai (RBI), Jul 28: Dr Shyam N Shetty (82), the founder president of Bombay Bunts Association, breathed his last due to old age at his residence, Hema Residence, Regent Orchid, Hardevibai Society, Jogeshwari East, a suburb of Mumbai, on Friday, July 28 afternoon.

Dr Shyam N Shetty was a prominent figure in Mumbai's social landscape, being associated with numerous social organizations. His contributions extended to social, educational, and religious services.

He is survived by his wife, Hema Shetty, a renowned gynecologist in Mulund, and his son-in-law, Dr Sathyaprakash Shetty, along with daughters Dr Sangeeta and Preeti Jaideep Shetty, as well as his son, Arvind Shetty, and a large family.

The final rites of the deceased will be held at JVLR Junction Crematorium on Caves Road, Pratap Nagar, Jogeshwari East, on Saturday, July 29 at 10 am, according to family sources.

The news of Dr Shyam N Shetty's passing has left the members of the Bombay Bunts Association in grief. The association's resident, CA Surendra K Shetty, along with office-bearers and members, expressed their heartfelt condolences.

The demise of Dr Shyam N Shetty is a significant loss to the community, and his contributions to various spheres of society will be remembered and cherished.
