Puttur: SDM Ujire wins overall championship at state level inter-collegiate IT fest PINNACLE 2K23

Puttur, Jun 10: A state level inter-collegiate IT Fest PINNACLE 2K23 organised by department of computer science St Philomena College, Puttur concluded with a valedictory ceremony conducted at the SJM hall of the college.

Gavin Chris Mascarenhas, data analyst TCS, Bengaluru and Sherman Baptist Rodrigues, software tester, IBM Bengaluru participated as guests on the occasion. Gratitude towards the college which shaped their personality resonated in the words spoken by both as guests.

 

Prof Ganesh Bhat, vice principal of the college congratulated the winners and also encouraged those participants for their enthusiasm in making the best use of the opportunity by travelling even from far away places. The commendable effort put by the Department of Computer Science as a beacon is really appreciable, he said.

SDM College, Ujire bagged overall championship and SDM College of Managemant adjudged runner-up in the fest.

Surprise prize ‘fair play award’ has been bagged by Sri Medha college, Ballari.

Highlights of the fest: Product Launch, IT Quiz, IT Manager, Coding, Web Design, Photography, Paper Presentation, Surprise Event, Gaming and Group Dance were the events. 17 teams participated.

Student coordinator Hruday S Naik, IIIBCA welcomed. Abhishek Kamath of IIBCA proposed vote of thanks. Yashaswini compered the programme. Coordinator of the fest and dean of the dept Vinayachandra announced the names of the prize winners.
