Bantwal, April 21: Yogesh Tukaram Badachi, a PUC student of Satyasai Lokseva PU college has secured 594 marks and secured the first rank in the district and third in the state in the PUC examinations.
Being a student of science, he has secured 100 marks each in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology and 96 marks in Kannada and 98 marks in English.
He is the son of teacher Tukaram Badachi and Pushpa Badachi, residents of Chikkodi, Belagavi district.
He studied till fifth standard at St Francis school, Chikkodi and continued his studies from the sixth standard at Satyasai college, Bantwal.
He is interested in sports also and is fond of hurdles, kabaddi and cricket. He wants to pursue medicine. He thanked his parents, younger sister, the college principal, teachers and friends for their support.
