Mangaluru: College Day held at Srinivas University with grandeur

Mangaluru, Apr 19: Srinivas University's College Day was held at Srinivas University Mukka Campus on Monday, April 18.

Chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shàma Rao Foundation Dr CA A Ragavendra Rao presided over the college day ceremony. In his presidential remark, he added that this event is of joy and takes home happy memories. All the students in whatever profession they choose to have a continuous process of skill development which will help them boost their careers.

Pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr A Srinivas Rao was the guest of honour. While addressing the gathering he proudly announced that this year the university has more than 10 rank holders at the state level. He asked the students to build a positive and constructive nature to avoid negativity.

Srinivas University, board of governors, trustee members A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, prof Er A Mitra S Rao, Srinivas University vice chancellor Dr P S Aithal, Srinivas University registrar Dr Anil Kumar, evaluation registrar Dr Srinivas Mayya, development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar, deans and principals of Srinivas Group of Institutions were present on the dais.

Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centres dean Dr Uday Kumar welcomed the gathering. Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences dean, Dr K Reshma Pai delivered the vote of thanks.

Dr Vijayalakshmi, Dr Ambika Mallya, Prof Steevan Robert Tellis, and Prof Rohan Fernandes compered the programme.
