Barbados, Jul 2: West Indian cricket star, batting prowess, Chris Gayle has finally broken his silence with regard to the long-time difference with West Indies cricket board.

Following the world cup, Gayle was initially dropped from a series against Pakistan at home, and later West Indies board did not consider him even for the series against India at home grounds.

Emotional Gayle made a statement saying, the board is not serious about his comeback to international cricket, and now it looks like he has reached a point, where returning is difficult or unlikely, he added.

"The West Indies Cricket Board is just fooling the public showing its interest in me to get back to the game, but the fact is they are not at keen for the same but are merely giving reasons one by one." he lamented.

However, he has not lost the hopes to return to international cricket, despite board's negligence.” I have not retired from any forms of cricket, I am anytime available to play cricket for West Indies, Jamaica...” says Gayle hinting that he is ready to compromise.

Interestingly, on the other hand, on July 1, after the India - West Indies Day 4 match, West Indian coach Gibson, said to media persons that, board has clearly informed Gayle what exactly he should do to return to the game. Ball is in his court now.

Gibson, reportedly, a strong supporter of Gayle is in favour of him returning to the team at the earliest. But he denied that, his absence is a matter of concern for the team's preparations.
