Mangaluru, Mar 28: No chalk, no duster, no blackboard, but a collection of surprises of the summer camp 2023 at Mount Carmel Central School, Maryhill, Mangaluru was untied while its contents along with the fragrance and hue of the flowers dived into the water below, much to the surprise of the audience.
The day commenced thanking god for his benevolence for the past days and invoking his grace for the days to come.
The camp was inaugurated by the administrator Sr Carissima, camp coordinator teacher Neeta and a few students in the presence of the campers, parents and mentors at the school ground with a promise to hold something for everyone for the age group of 4 to 9 years.
The administrator Sr Carissima declared the camp open and in her message highlighted the gist of the camp and what it holds. She urged the campers to make the best use in learning the skills at this camp. It was a moment of delight to watch the campers run into the camp like little explorers to untie the surprises waiting for them.
While the juniors enjoy the fun-filled activities coupled with learning, the seniors enthusiastically develop their skills through specialized coaching in basketball, football and cricket.
Indeed it is an opportunity for the campers to explore beyond the boundaries of their homes and enjoy the company of one another.
