Mangaluru: Bottle painting competition held at Srinivas University's Institute of Aviation Studies

Mangaluru, Mar 21: Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, conducted bottle painting competition on March 11 for the students of BBA Aviation Studies and MBA Aviation Studies.

Painting stimulates creativity, increases emotional intelligence, and also reduces stress. With this motivein mind and also to develop the concept of reusing and recycling materials the competition was set among the students. The participants were required to reuse and recycle the waste bottles and make a new masterpiece. The students used all their potential and skills to make a stunning piece of art. The students diligently took part with a competitive spirit.

The competition was organized by the cultural coordinators Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, and professor Kavyashree, course coordinators, Institute of Aviation Studies.

From the BBA department the winners were Amitha S N (III year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management), second place was bagged by Deekshitha A C (I year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management) and Rajeshwari (III year BBA Aviation Management). From the department of MBA the winner was Pratheeksha Shetty (I year MBA Aviation Management) and John Rodrigues (I year MBA Aviation Management).
