Mangaluru: Two arrested in separate cases for duping people of crores

Mangaluru, Mar 20: The Mangaluru CCB has arrested a person for duping people with false promises of crypto currency investment. The accused has been identified as Hamza C T, aged 42, from Mallapura.

Hamza C T has allegedly taken crores of rupees from residents of Kannur and other people by convincing them to invest in crypto currency, promising a 25% profit every month.

In another case, a person has been arrested for duping people to invest in the share market. The accused has been identified as Jijo John from Calicut, aged 29, and has taken Rs 1 crore from a resident of Shakthinagar, promising a 15% profit every month.

The case has been filed at CEN police station.

    Crypto ,currencies and other technology based on blockchain technology are the future ..it will play a major role in wiping out corruption worldwide and providing equitable growth without interference of middlemen or brokers. the downside now is that it is being used for all unwanted activities like smuggling ,porn and cybercrimes in the darknet(Underground Internet)
