Mangaluru: Srinivas University organises 'Voice of Young India,' session on Union Budget 2023

Mangaluru, Feb 3: Srinivas University College of Management and Commerce organized a Budget Analysis Programme – Voice of Young India on the Union Budget 2023 – at Pandeshwar campus auditorium on Friday, February 3.

Addressing the gathering, senior journalist P B Harish Rai said, “I am grateful to Srinivas University for organizing this program which educates students about the union budget 2023. This is not just Nirmala Seetharam's budget. A team of IAS officers and parliament leaders are working behind the union budget. I would like to see one of you as the upcoming Nirmala Seetharaman. When the budget is announced, we check what benefits we have received in this budget. We need to analyze the previous budget and check what all things they have implemented.”

  

Board of Governors, Srinivas University, Meghana S Rao said, “Last time they had a panel of experts who spoke about a lot of things. This is supposed to be the voice of young India so it is most important that we as students come up and understand.  Each and every student should be given training on AI. Sportswise they have given an extremely amazing budget margin. We need to compare this year's budget and the previous year so that we can analyze the changes in the budget of each year.”  

The programme was intended for the MBA students and it began with a presentation on the budget by the students.
Registrar, Dr Anil Kumar, dean, IMC, Dr Keerthan Raj were present.

Vice chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr P S Aithal welcomed the gathering, IMC HoD,  Prof Amith Menezes proposed a vote of thanks and Deepak compered the event.
