Mangaluru, Jan 20: A collection of short stories in Konkani by Urban D’Souza, popularly known as Ubba Moodbidri published by St Aloysius Prakashana, the publication wing of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) will be released on January 22 at 3.00 p.m. in Saanidhya Hall of the college.
The book will be released by Kendriya Sathittya Academy Award winner, Konkani poet, Melwyn Rodrigues in the presence of Fr Melwin J Pinto SJ, rector of St Aloysius Institutions, Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, principal of the college, Henry M Pernal, editor of Kittal, Dr Vidya Vinutha D'Souza, director of St Aloysius Prakashana and the author himself.
The book consists of 13 stories on social, spirituality and family principles, inspiration and motivation. The copies of the book will be available for purchase during the event.
