Karachi, May 16 (IANS) A vehicle of the Saudi Arabia consulate came under attack in Karachi Monday morning, Xinhua reported.
The vehicle's driver was killed in the incident, said police.
Shots were fired at the consulate car by some unknown militants riding a motorbike in the defence area of Karachi when the vehicle was on its way to office, police said.
It was the second attack at the Saudi Arabia consulate in Karachi in a week.
Last Wednesday, unidentified motorcyclists had thrown two hand grenades at the consulate.
The attacks could be a reaction to the killing of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden by US special forces in Pakistan May 2, said police sources.
