Mangalore: MLA Khader Seeks Resignations of CM, Speaker

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, May 14: MLA, U T Khader, has urged state Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, and assembly speaker, Bopanna, to tender their resignations, by bowing to the judgment delivered by Supreme Court relating to the disqualified legislators.

He said that these two are obliged to resign from their posts, as they had meddled with legal provisions.

“Supreme Court has observed that the Chief Minister had misused the position of speaker in the above case. It also said that the assembly speaker was not in order in disqualifying the MLAs in question. As such, both of them should resign immediately,” he felt.
