Mangalore: Jubilant BJP Leaders in City Celebrate Party's Victory

Mangalore, May 13: As the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in state bagged all the three assembly seats in the bypolls held on April 9, the party leaders in city celebrated the symbolic victory in front the district BJP office on Friday May 13.

BJP leader Shreekar Prabhu distributed sweets to the party members and supporters. Speaking on the occasion he said that the victory is nothing but a lesson to the Congress party in state to support the developmental works done by BJP members.

He added that victory in Channapatna, Jagalur and Bangarpet for BJP candidates has re-energized the enthusiasm and motivation to do more among party workers.

BJP leaders Monappa Bhandary, mayor Praveen, deputy mayor Geetha Nayak, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation president Nithin Kumar, BJP Mahila Morcha members among others were present.

Later a victory procession was taken out. The party workers raised slogans and chanted Vande Mataram. Crackers were also burst with merriment.
