M'lore: Kerala Assembly Elections - Ban on Liquor Near State Border From May 13

Mangalore, May 12: Kerala assembly elections were held, recently. The counting in this respect will begin on Friday May 13 from 8.00 am onwards.

In this backdrop, the additional deputy commissioner S A Prabhakar Sharma has enforced prohibitory order on sale of liquor under Karnataka Excise license section 1967, section 10B. It is also to facilitate maintenance of law and order situation.

The prohibitory orders will be in place within 5 kms limit from Kerala Border from 6.00 am on Friday May 13 6.00 am Saturday May 14.
