Udupi, May 10: Karnataka Chief Minister (CM), B S Yeddyurappa, offered ‘Poornahuti’ at the Ati Rudra Yaaga organized at Kutyar Sri Parashurameshwara Temple, along with scores of others, on Monday May 9.
Minister, Shobha Karandlaje, Mangalore MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, local MP, D V Sadanand Gowda, Kaup MLA, Lalaji R Mendon, zilla panchayat president, Katapadi Shankar Poojary, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, district deputy commissioner, Hemalata, and a number of BJP leaders were present.
Niranjan Bhat Pavanje led the religious rituals. This five day Yaaga concluded on Monday evening. During the visit of the Chief Minister, tight security was provided by policemen and anti naxal force commandos. On the occasion, the Chief Minister prayed to the Lord to give him the inner strength and confidence to concentrate on development initiatives with peace of mind and fearlessness during the remaining two years of his tenure. This was revealed to the newspersons by the CM himself.
