Mangalore: Kollur Temple Staff Suspended for Issuing Duplicate Receipts

Mangalore, May 6: An employee working at a counter of Mookambika Temple, Kollur, near here, was sacked from service for issuing duplicate receipts for the offerings made by a devotee.

H M Kale, administrative officer of the famous temple, issued the suspension order against Prasad Kumar who was on duty at counter number 1 on Sunday April 24 following a complaint lodged by devotee Aniruddh.

It was proven that Prasad Kumar had issued three duplicate receipts of the six issued with corrections in the serial numbers.
