Mangalore, May 3: Addressing presspersons, Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation president N B Abubakker on Tuesday May 3 said that people of minority community are benefited to a great extent after the BJP came to power.
Speaking further, he said that the BJP government has provided funds and loans even at lower rates of interest to minorities The previous governments had given Rs 14 crore for minority development, while the BJP government sanctioned Rs 185 crore.
He also said that the corporation will provide loans of Rs 2.5 lac to farmers to procure agricultural land. While repayment of 50 percent of the loan will be borne by the government, farmers will have to pay half of it within 10 years at the rate of 6 percent in 20 installments.
