Mangalore: Rain Visits Sullia and Beltangady Taluks

Mangalore, May 2: A few places in Sullia and Beltangady taluks of Dakshina Kannada district experienced rain, thunder, and lightning on Sunday May 1.

Subrahmanya and nearby places got heavy rain for about an hour, coupled with thunder and lightning, beginning at about 7 pm. The quantum of rain received in Sullia was comparatively less. Naravi in Beltangady taluk also got rain on Sunday evening.

In other parts of Karnataka coast, temperatures rose, and high humidity made people to sweat.
