Mangaluru, Sep 19: The best day of a student is when he or she has been given an option to choose what would enhance their career. The school on the whole gives the best to its students to move ahead in the path of excellence.
St Agnes CBSE school too believes in giving the students what is rightfully theirs. One important aspect other than academics is preparing students to be the part of the world and grow. Keeping all these aspects the school organised the Career Guidance programme for students and parents on Sept 10.
A healthy gathering of students and parents brought in the real purpose of this meaningful event. The Resource Person was Dr Ananth Prabhu G professor in the Dept of Computer Science and Engineering at Sahyadri Group of Educational Institutions.He has provided his career excellence training to thousands of students and is the reason where children are able to choose the rightful career.
The speaker gave a vast knowledge on the aspect of choosing the right career. The key points discussed were SWOT Analysis that is struggle, weakness, opportunities and threats in oneself to recognise was stressed. The important aspect highlighted was individual thinking and making right decisions was called upon. He emphasised the learning techniques and gave a brief insight on the courses currently available. The NEP and new stand of learning was collectively explained. In the end an open question session gave a platform to students to solve their queries. Truly indeed it was an educative session.
In the latter part of the session the principal thanked the parents and students for their wonderful participation. She too explained some challenges in academics and every teacher’s hard work and support for the students given. The parents too were given time to express their opinion and thoughts about acadamics and other school related issues.
Teacher Josephine compered the programme. Teacher Janet proposed the vote of thanks for the wonderful cooperation by parents and students. The Management is grateful for this initiative and congratulates teachers, students and parents for their active participation.
