Recipes - Wheat Appams

Ingredients:
1 cup broken wheat
1 cup freshly grated coconut
¼ cup jaggery
Pinch of salt
3-4 cardamoms
Oil or Ghee.
Method:
Wash and soak broken wheat for half an hour. Grind jaggery, coconut and cardamoms. Add broken wheat and grind coarsely. Heat appam pan with depressions, grease with oil or ghee and fry appams on slow flames on both sides until golden brown.
