Recipes - Jackfruit Buns

Ingredients:

1 ½ cup maida
4 pitted jackfruit bulbs
2 tbsp. curds
2 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of salt
¼ tsp. baking powder.
¼ tsp. cumin
Oil for deep frying.

Method:

Grind jackfruit bulbs along with curd and sugar.  Mix this pulp into maida and kneed well.  Add salt and cumin.  Set aside for 3-4 hours.  Make lime sized balls and roll into ¼ “ thick discs and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
