Recipes - Badaam (Almonds) Poori

Ingredients:
1 cup maida
¼ cup sugar
3-4 cardamoms
1 tbsp. ghee
½ cup almonds
A pinch of salt
Oil for deep-frying
Method:
Mix maida, ghee and salt. Add required water and kneed the mixture and set aside. Make fine powder of sugar along with cardamoms. Chop almonds into fine pieces.
Prepare round balls from the dough and flatten each ball and place ¼ sp. of almond pieces and bring back to the ball shape. Now roll them into small pooris.
Heat oil in a deep pan, fry the pooris one at a time on slow flame. Arrange the pooris in a plate or tray and sprinkle powdered sugar on both sides when the pooris are hot.
