Beltangady, Sep 5: Anugraha Educational Institutions organized Teachers' Day on the birthday of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India.

After the morning assembly, the Teachers' Day programme was scheduled to start. Few lucky games for the Teachers were arranged by the students.

Along with the teachers, the correspondent Rev Fr James D'Souza, the principal Fr Vijay Lobo, the headmaster of the primary section Ravi Kumar, Ananda Krishna, vice president of Parent Teacher Association, Antony Fernandes member of the Management Committee and other members of the Management Committee were present.

The function started with a prayer song. After that Samanvi of 10th standard spoken behalf of the students thanking the teachers for their efforts in shaping the life of students and inspiring them.

Irene Rodrigues spoke on behalf of the teachers and thanked the students for organizing the programme. The principal in his speech said, “Every student should be active and hardwork to mould their character." The correspondent gave a speech thanking the hard work and dedication of the teachers. Then there was a display of cultural activities that everyone enjoyed.

Vamshi of 10th standard welcome the gathering, Koustub of 10th standard rendered vote of thanks. Anushi of 10th standard compered the programme.
