Mangaluru, Sep 7: Institute of Computer Science and Information Sciences of Srinivas University conducted orientation programme for the BCA and BSc (Animation and Digital Film Making) students for the new academic year on Monday, September 5 in the college auditorium at Pandeshwar, Mangaluru.

The programme started with the invocation of prayer by Harshitha and Lahari of Final BCA. Professor Divya Naveen welcomed the gathering. Dr P S Aithal vice-chancellor Srinivas University, professor Subramanya Bhat, dean, ICIS and professor Sridhara Acharya, BCA coordinator were the dignitaries present on the occasion.

The orientation programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais. The oath to the fresh batch of students was administered by the professor Subramanya Bhat, dean, ICIS. Professor P Sridhara Acharya, BCA coordinator, ICIS inspired the students about the scope of the courses. The presidential remarks were given by Dr P S Aithal, vice chancellor, Srinivas University. He guided the students to be focused and become good citizens of the country. Professor Priyadarshini P proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was anchored by professor Panchajanyeswari, faculty, ICIS, Srinivas University.
