Udupi, Sep 1: Vani, the teacher of SMS English Medium School Brahmavar (CBSE) has been selected for 'Adarsha Shikshaka Award' in connection with Teachers’ day celebrations, will be presented by by Adarsha Hospital Udupi and department of School Education Udupi on Sunday, September 4 at Adarsha Hospital Udupi.

Vani has been working in the school for the last 20 years as an art teacher. She has completed her AMC ( Art Master Certificate) and GD ( Government Diploma in Arts). Her area of specialization in arts is 'Miniature Painting'. She has participated in six Art exhibitions as an artist and has the credit of having one solo exhibition.

In the school, her students participated in many state level and national level competitions and won the prizes. She has been organizing Art exhibition of students and teachers in the school for the last two decades.She participated in 'Mahila Samskrathika Utsava’ as resource person, which was organized by Kannada and Culture department Udupi in 2019.

Correspondent Father MC Mathai, management members (OSC Educational Society), the principal and staff have congratulated Vani on her commendable achievement.
