Puttur, Aug 29: Varsha (II SCBA) of St Philomena P U College, Puttur added another feather of success to the institution by securing the Bronze Medal in the Hammer Throw event, with the throw of 32.36 mts at Karnataka State Junor and Senior Athletics Championship under Girls 18 Category. The event was organized by Bangalore Rural District Athletic Association held at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru.
Varsha is the proud daughter of Sundara Gowda and Varija. She is trained by Rajesh Mooliya and Elias Pinto, physical directors, St Philomena P U College, Puttur.
