'One Should Look for Options Apart from Miandad'

Lahore, Apr 13 (PTI) Pakistan coach Waqar Younis is not happy in the manner the PCB has been pestering Javed Miandad to take up the job of a batting consultant when the legendary batsman is not too keen on it.

"Why do we keep going round and round about the same thing? Javed bhai was also offered this position last year and now again. But if he can't do it because of lack of time or for any other reason, then we should look at other options," an upset Waqar told the media at the conclusion of the national camp today.

Miandad has again turned down an offer to become batting coach but showed up at the national camp for two days to work with some of the players.

Waqar doesn't believe in voicing his opinion through media as it will start a new controversy.
