Mangaluru, Aug 20: The celebration of feast day of any institution has been the spur moment of jubilation and joy. St Mary’s English Higher Primary School celebrated its feast on August 20 which annexed with the feast of Queenship of Mother Mary.
As a part of celebration of this feast, the catholic students participated in the Holy Eucharist in the morning. Thereafter, a short programme was conducted by the students of class VI B.
The programme began with the prayer service in which the magnificat was presented beautifully in the dance form.
Sr Asha Prima, the headmistress of preparatory school was invited as a chief guest and was welcome with a bouquet of flowers.
The students enacted a meaningful skit depicting the virtues of Mother Mary with the message that she is the Mother who intercedes always and those who go to her in prayer will never return empty handed.
The chief guest Sr Asha Prima addressed the students and gave an inspiring and motivational message she also presented the certificates to the students who won in different competitions.
The programme ended with the words of gratitude. Sherlyn Ann Mascarenhas and Aanchal Aakriti Salian compered the programme and thanked one and all for the support given for the success of the programme.
