Bangalore: Students, Parents, Protest – Postgraduate Counselling Suspended

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Apr 13: After students, their parents and activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) began a flash protest, the COMED-K counselling for post graduate medical and dental courses had to be suspended abruptly on Tuesday April 12.

The counselling had begun in NMKRV College in the city on Tuesday. However, the students expressed their resentment, alleging that a number of seats available in certain colleges were being blocked.

As the officials conducting counselling failed to clarify the position or explain the reason, the students, supported by their parents, protested against what they called as an unjust move. Thereafter, ABVP activists joined them.
