Bahrain: 15th Sri Vishwakarma Pooja Mahotsava held

Bahrain, Jan 7: The 15th Sri Vishwakarma Pooja Mahotsava, organized by Sri Vishwakarma Seva Balaga Bahrain, was celebrated with grandeur on November 29, 2024, at the local Kannada auditorium.

The pooja was conducted in the presence of renowned astrologer Ashok Purohit from Mumbai. Raviraj and Divya Raviraj served as the pooja couple for the occasion.

The day began with the Kalasha Pratishte in the morning, followed by the chanting of Sri Vishwakarma-Sri Kalikamba Sthothra and Sri Lalitashtottara Shatanamavali by Mahila Mandali. The ISKCON Bahrain devotees, led by Raganuga Bhaktimaan Das Prabhuji, performed Harinama chanting. A Bajana programme was conducted by Rajesh Acharya Kodethur along with members of the association and the local Yaksha Bajana Mandali.

The event was graced by founder president of the association Jagadeesha Acharya and senior entrepreneur and association sponsor Shantaram Shetty. Following the Mahapooja and Mangalarati, performed in the presence of committee members, guests, and Satish Acharya, astrologer Ashok Purohit offered blessings to all devotees.

During the stage programme, founder president Jagadeesha Acharya and guest Shantaram Shetty were honored with shawls and mementos by the association's president Satish Acharya, vice president Surendra Nandavara, and immediate past president Sadashiva Acharya Marnadu. Presidents of local associations and other contributors to the event were also presented with mementos.

The programme concluded with Mahaprasada Anna Santarpane for devotees, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by association member Santhosh Acharya. The event was compered by association secretary Natesh Acharya.
