Mangaluru, Aug 15: MGC Composite PU College, Bondel celebrated the 75th Independence Day 'Azadi ka Amruth Mahohastov' with great pomp, gaity and patriotic fervor.

The students marched by waving the flags. The tricolour was hoisted by PTA vice president Ganesh.

The colourful programme was staged by the students evoked in us the spirit of patriotism. The life of soldiers was enacted in a symbolic way.

The school correspondent Sr Succorin Rebello UMI felicitated the chief guest of the day. Chandrakala felicitated Sr Anice and Sr Sangeeta, the headmistress of primary and high school.

The anchoring of the celebration was competently done by Anvita Noronha.
