Panaji, Mar 24: Karnataka State Small Industries Development Corporation organized a Road Show in Goa recently to market the Industrial Park established at Desur, adjacent to Belgaum Golf Club for  the benefit  of Information Technology and other allied Industries.  The  event was inaugurated  by Shri Mara Pandyan, IAS, Chairman, Marmagoa Port Trust.

Speaking on the occasion, Mara Pandyan, said that Belgaum is a beautiful city, with celebrious climate known for entrepreneurship and industrial growth and prosperity. He also opined that  Belgaum has large number of exporters which is of equal distance to Hyderabad, Poona and Bangalore with good technical and professional institutions and hard working people.

Stating that KSSIDC’s initiative  purely  indicates secular approach of our country. Pandyan said that land rate is comparatively cheap at Belgaum and is fairly  advantageous  for the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs  of Goa State to avail  the facility to implement their projects. Belgaum has necessary  forward and  backward linkages he said  and advised the entrepreneurs of Goa to encash  this opportunity.

N Prabhakar, IAS, Managing Director, KSSIDC, who spoke  on the occasion said that Belgaum Industrial Estate is established with State of Art Infrastructure and has good connectivity by road from Goa.
