Mangalore, Mar 22: Infosys, Mangalore conducted “Nrityam”, an Inter Engineering College dance competition recently here at their Mudipu campus.

256 students from 11 engineering colleges in and around Mangalore participated in this event. This was an evening with a difference for everyone at Infosys as well as the visitors; a welcome break from their busy schedules. The event also helped in bringing together engineering students from various colleges and also gave them an opportunity to get a sneak view of the world class software development campus of Infosys.

The performances from all the colleges were of high quality and was a treat for the eyes of everyone present.
 

Winners: PA College of Engineering

Runners Up: Canara Engineering College

PA College of Engineering emerged as the winner and were the proud owners of the Trophy and cash prize of Rs.25,000.00.

Canara Engineering College was adjudged as the Runners-up and received Trophy and cash prize of Rs. 15,000.00.
 
Sachin from Srinivas Institute of Technology and Revathi Holla from SDMIT, Ujire won the Best Dancer Male and Female respectively.
 
Infosys conducts various events to give opportunities for students to interact with leaders from Infosys and also understand Information Technology business.

“Spark” event where Infosys leaders give students an overview of relevance of IT, “Rural Reach Program” to reach out to schools in remote areas, “Scholars” – a quizzing event for school students are few of the events that are very popular in school and college campuses.
