Mangalore, Mar 21: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) department of business administration will hold a two-day national conference on Strategizing Innovative Business Models from Thursday March 24 to Friday March 25.
Belgium’s trade commissioner for south India and Aryabhata Award recipient Jayanth Nadiger will deliver the keynote address during the inaugural function scheduled to be held at SJEC conference hall of mechanical engineering block on Thursday at 10.00 am.
SJEC president Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza of Mangalore diocese will preside over the inaugural function on Thursday morning.
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) school of management Professor Dr Francis Cherunilam, Bantwal SVS College commerce Professor B V Raghunandan, Coimbattore PSG Institute of Management HRD Professor Dr T G Vijaya, Bellary Vijayanagara Krishnadevaraya University registrar Dr Yashavantha Dongre, Magnum Intergrafiks Private Limited chairman Sudhir Ghate, Manipal – Ace Event Management Company Private Limited managing director and CEO Kumble Narasimha Prabhu will be the key speakers at the conference.
The conference will explore the insights from a diverse group of policy makers, researchers, practicing managers and academicians on the theme of innovative business models in the sectors of manufacturing, service, education, health, energy and environment that will be an impetus to the progress of an organization at the non-insular market place in the era of globalization and competition.
St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) chief Fr Oswald Mascarenhas SJ will deliver the valedictory address on Friday March 25 at 2.00 pm.
Achal Industries director G Giridhar Prabhu will preside the valedictory session.
