Udupi, June 23: Inauguration of various clubs and club activities of GM Vidyaniketan School was held on June 22 at GM Chatrachaya.

Prakashchandra Shetty, President of the School administration committee inaugurated the clubs by lighting the lamp. Addressing the students on the occasion he said “GM Vidyaniketan is developing leadership skills among all its students. You need to be a good leader of society. Be role models to others. With the guidance of your teachers, make wise decisions. Join hands for the development of the institution along with your personal development” he said.

Brahmachari KN, principal congratulating the members of the school parliament said, “Perform your duties perfectly. Be a good guide to other students with your disciplined and good behavior” he said.

Adithya Adiga and Nakshyu Shetty took oath of office as school leaders. Leaders of Guna, Medha, Vidya, Prajna and Shraddha groups and assistant leaders, President and secretaries of sports, Eco, science, Mathematics, dance, arts and music clubs also took oath on the occasion.

Teachers of the school explained about the workings and activities of the various clubs. Students and faculty were present on the occasion.
