Mangalore: Bouddha Maha Sabha Holds Candlelight Vigil for Tsunami Victims

Mangalore, Mar 16:
Dakshina Kannada District Bouddha Maha Sabha, Mangalore, organized a candlelight vigil to show solidarity with those affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in northern Japan.


People gathered in front of the Town Hall in large numbers on Tuesday March 15 at 7 pm and offered homage to the departed soul of the victims.
 
S R Laxman, president, DK District Bouddha Maha Sabha Mangalore, Shashidhar Jokatte, vice-president, Kanthappa Alangar, general secretary, were also present.
