Udupi, Mar 14: Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh will hold annual meet of Udupi deanery at Mount Rosary Church millennium auditorium, Kallianpur, here on Sunday March 20.

The birth centenary of Bharat Ratna the late Mother Theresa and felicitation of Manipal University chancellor Padmabhushan Dr Ramdas M Pai will be held on the occasion.

Pramila Pinto, a student of Manasa Special School, Pamboor will be honoured for representing India in the special Olympic Games at Athens shortly. Catholic Sabha Udupi deanery president Louis D’Almeida will preside.

Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh president Walter Cyril Pinto will inaugurate the programme. The former president L J Fernandes will deliver the keynote address

.A Konkani book authored by litterateur Dr Gerald Pinto will be released during the programme.

AICU state president Elroy Kiran Crasto, Catholic Sabha central committee spiritual director Fr Vincent Monteiro and Mount Rosary parish Catholic Sabha spiritual director Fr Philip Neri will be the chief guests.

The representatives of Catholic Sabha from Kundapur, Kallianpur, Udupi and Shirva will attend the annual meet. Variety cultural programmes will be staged by the artistes of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy after the fellowship meal on Sunday afternoon.
