Puttur, Mar 12: In its report placed before its Pratinidhi Sabha that was inaugurated here on Friday March 11, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pointed out that different governments have been making wasteful efforts to accuse Hindu leaders of terrorist activities. It noted that although anti-Hindu forces have an upper hand in only five of the 22 districts of Jammu and Kashmir, it is being widely publicized that the entire state is ready and raring to alienate itself from India. RSS has held weak political stands, irresponsibility that has stemmed out of the government’s inability to take stringent action, as being the reason for the aggravation of the problem in that state.
Speaking to reporters after releasing the report, Akhil Bharat Prachar Pramukh of RSS, Dr Manmohan Vaidya, stated that Hindu Samajotsavas are being organized to awaken the society as a whole to the burning issues, and not to benefit any particular political outfit including the BJP. He said that there is no question of RSS supporting or standing by corruption or corrupt practices. He said that the organization prefers to loathe the entire system of corruption as a whole, rather than identifying individuals or parties harbouring corruption. “RSS strongly resents excessive consumerism, and misuse of positions and principles for amassing wealth. It notes that constitutional positions are being misused for these purposes. There is a need to strongly deal with corruption and black money,” Vaidya stressed.
Former Sarsanghchalak of RSS, Sudarshan, who was known as a firebrand leader, has been participating as an activist of the RSS in the convention. Sudarshan, who has retired as the leading light of RSS, sat on the ground with other activists and mixed freely with everyone. About 1,300 representatives drawn from different strata of the organizations are participating in Pratinidhi Sabha.
