Mangalore, Mar 10: The department of Commerce, St Agnes College organized a daylong workshop on Retail marketing and self management’ in the college auditorium on Thursday Mach 10.
The aim of the workshop is to create awareness about the career options in retail marketing as well as to identify the various opportunities and utilize it to one’s benefit.
The workshop was inaugurated by Lata R Kini, vice-president, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dr Marie Prem D’Souza, principal of the college presided.
The workshop comprises four sessions. The first and second session was taken by Ronald Mendonca, Smart Solutions and managing partner of Book World on the topic Retial marketing – Recent trends, challenges and opportunities and Retail marketing – Career prospects. The third session will be taken up by Trishma Pinto on the topic, Self-management – An overview and the fourth session will be taken up by Dr Supriya Rao Hegde, department of psychiatry, KMC on the topic Stress management – My role.
The valedictory will be held at 3.30 pm and Supriya, vic-principal and head of the commerce department of the college will be the chief guest.
