Christ School Manipal bids farewell to Correspondent Fr Fredirck D'souza, celebrates Environment day

Udupi, June 10: Christ School Manipal bid farewell to its Correspondent Fr Fredrick D'souza as he has been transferred to Mudarangady Church. A felicitation function was organized by the School management, teaching and non teaching staff and students.

"Fr. Fredrick D'souza had been a backbone and a constant support to the Christ School family since 6 years. He was a man of farsightedness and dedication. In his tenure the school has reached desired height" opined principal Eliza Vaz.

Assistant school captain Nicole Feranandes spoke a few words about Fr Fredrick D'souza. The School captain and assistant school captain offered a flower bouquet to Fr Fredrick D'souza as a token of gratitude. Reshma Suares gave a brief introduction on the journey of Fr Fredrick D'souza as correspondent in the school.

Environment day was also celebrated on the occasion. Fr Fredrick D'souza along with the principal and staff planted the sapling in the school premise as the symbol of love and also to raise the awareness on the need of planting saplings for a clean and healthy environment. Ranjitha spoke on the importance of the environment day.

Vidya H V welcomed the gathering. Sumalatha proposed a vote of thanks. Trishna and Shonima compered the program.
