Mangalore: BJP National President Participates in RSS Convention

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Mar 8: BJP national president, Nitin Gadkari, arrived in the city on Monday March 7 en route to Puttur to participate in Akhil Bharat Pratinidhi Sabha (national level delegates session) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) being held at Vivikandanda Engineering College campus there. On his arrival at the airport by a Jet Airways flight, he was received by MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP Dakshina Kannada district president, Padmanabh Kottary, MLC, Capt Ganesh Karnik, and BJP city unit president, Srikar Parabhu, among others.

Gadkari was accompanied by BJP national organizing general secretary, Ramlalji. At the airport, Gadkari refused to field questions posed to him by media persons relating to political developments, saying that the party spokespersons will respond to all the queries and that he was here to participate in the RSS convention.

At the venue of the RSS convention too, Gadkari chose not to reply any of the questions tossed at him by the journalists. He was accorded a warm welcome at Puttur by MLA, Mallika Prasad, Puttur assembly BJP committee president, Gopalakrishna Herle, Radhakrishna Bhakta representing Vivekananda College governing council, etc. It is thought that Gadkari thought it fit to stick to the RSS tradition of the delegates restricting themselves to discussing issues only at the convention, and not responding to any other issues outside.
