Mangaluru: Atharva Prakash shines in Sandalwood with ‘Man of the Match’

Mangaluru, Jun 4: Atharva Prakash has been the latest entrant to Sandalwood hailing from Mangaluru through a Kannada movie ‘Man of the Match’.

Atharva was indeed the ‘Man of the Match’ in his debut movie as it received an overwhelming response from the audience.

He is an architect graduate. He was always interested in acting. He prepared himself for a lead role by acting in five Tulu movies, which includes the blockbuster ‘Chaalipolilu’.

Atharva looked promising in his Kannada debut directed by D Satya Prakash. The movie is produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, D Satya Prakash and Manjunatha D. ‘Man of the Match’ has been selected for New York Film Festival.

The movie is streaming on Amazon Prime.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Prakash Pandeshwar said, “I am very happy that my son Atharva has shown his capabilities on screen through ‘Man of the Match’. His next film ‘Non Veg’ will be a different film all together when it comes to his role in the movie.

Atharva said, “I am getting good reviews for ‘Man of the Match’. Even though it was directly released on OTT, the movie has reached the masses. My upcoming Kannada movie ‘Non Veg’ directed by Sooraj Shetty will release in August. Apart from me, Prakash Tuminad and Sanjana Burli are playing the lead in the movie. I am also doing a Tamil film titled ‘Deal’ directed by Sunesh Shekar.
